Fair housing and common interest communities

Compared to other types of housing, condominiums may seem a horse of another color, with their common-interest community assessments, shared facilities and governing association boards. Nonetheless, state and federal fair housing laws apply as much to condo owners, managers and sales personnel as to any other category of housing.  In a nod to the 49th anniversary of 1968’s Fair Housing Act, and April’s observance as Fair Housing Month, let’s explore the subject.    Read the article………….
